The worst experience

• Was there anything you didn't like?
  This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The previous guest’s underwear was still inside the washing machine when I arrived. That alone shows a serious failure in cleaning standards. No housekeeping service for four days. Zero. For a hotel charging this rate, that’s unacceptable. They also refused luggage storage after checkout, which is basic service in most hotels. If you value cleanliness and proper service, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Watch out for false charges

• What did you like most?
  Great location, not the location itself there’s not much to do in the area - but it’s very quick to get to brickell/ south beach / design district ect. Ubers come quick. Felt very safe both daytime and late at night as a solo female traveller from the UK. Lots of people staying from all over, great place to meet people. The lobby, lift and overall decor of the hotel is very aesthetic. Gyms fantastic has everything you could need for weight training ect. and also has a reformer Pilates room. Staff whilst staying where friendly and helpful throughout. Beds are very comfortable and had black out blinds/curtains if your like me and a light sleeper. The cafe onsite served great coffee/ pastries (but there’s a Starbucks 2min walk which was cheaper and had Apple Pay)

  Cafe didn’t take Apple Pay. Didn’t have bvgalri toiletries as advertised not a massive deal but strange they focus on advertising something they don’t have. Only 2 small bottles of water for the whole week stay. Air-con is very loud but I turned off at night. Pool has really loud tinny bad music playing full blast all day, so I never actually used the pool throughout my entire stay. ( for reference I’m young and enjoy a beach club the music choice was really bad & loud) There’s also an extra charge to use the spa, it’s a small fee - however for what it is, it should be included in the stay. It’s literally just a sauna, steam room and ice bath (which had a hair in it) and isn’t very luxurious. Once checked out, I was falsely charged extra fees - Upon booking I saw the reviews regarding being over charged and was worried so I contacted the property my concerns and they reassured me that there will be no extra charges to what I had already paid. So I Payed in full prior to arriving, payed a refundable damage deposit on arrival. Checked out, was asked if I had valet parking I said no.. damage deposit refunded.. a few days later I was randomly charged £111 with no invoice or email to state why. Contacted the property stated I couldn’t think where the fees came from I didn’t have cleaning services, pets, breakfast, dinner, parking or any damage. After a few back and fourth emails they eventually told me it was for valet parking - I said (for the third time) I didn’t have a car to park - eventually I was refunded - I understand mistakes happen - however there’s multiple reviews from guests who have said the same - and what I found completely unbelievably and frankly unacceptable is that not at any point did they apologise for falsely charging me. Overall I did have a really nice stay and would have re-booked, but the random false extra charge after checking out with no apology or accountability taken from management it’s unlikely I’ll be returning.
