Large rooms. Friendly staff
- What did you like most?
  Very large and spotless rooms. Friendly check in and the reception staff are lovely. 25 min walk to The Rocks and most of the city. Note it is in china town.
- Was there anything you didn't like?
  Seriously blasting music in the lobby. We arrived and the level was so loud we couldn’t hear at check in. And it was rock music with electric guitar solos. A very unusual choice for a lobby. The Hotel did not provide any facilities for changing or showering after the pool. Just a toilet. We had a large gap between checkout and leaving for the airport and when I asked if there was some facilities to change, I was offered the disabled toilet in the lobby. I also had to really push to find the hairdryer to use. They did provide one in the end but there was lots of umming and ahhhing about if it was possible. It seemed like this was a pretty regular request for changing facilities from guests yet nothing was provided. Could be a good opportunity for The Hotel to think about an unused room or providing some change facilities near the pool could also serve the same purpose. Our bags were collected from the rooms and we left all day and monitored beside the reception desk. Typically bags put into a locked room or at least a room that can’t be accessed by the public. We decided to keep our laptop bags in valuables with us thank goodness we did because the bags were unmonitored and left in the open for about eight hours. I returned during the day to grab something and nobody noticed that I picked a bag up and walked away.
